ANAWAZ is an engineering business based in Islamabad, Pakistan. Anawaz (SMC-Private) Limited is responsible for the personal information it collects for its own website and business enquiries. A client engagement may involve separate confidentiality, security and data-processing terms. Those agreed terms govern our handling of client project data where we act on the client’s instructions.
Information we collect
Enquiries and correspondence
Our contact form asks for your name, email address, indicative budget, subject and message. We also receive information you choose to share by email, telephone or other contact channels. We use it to understand your request, respond, arrange discussions and manage a business relationship if an engagement follows. Please avoid including passwords, identity documents, payment-card details or sensitive project data in a general enquiry. Contact us first to agree a suitable method for sharing sensitive material.
Blog comments
If you leave a comment, we receive the comment and the identity or contact details supplied with it. WordPress and anti-spam services may also process your IP address and browser information. An approved comment, display name and any displayed profile image or website link can be public. Your email address is not intended to appear in the public comment. Please keep private information out of comments. If a Gravatar profile is displayed, that service handles the profile image under its own privacy terms.
Subscriptions
If you subscribe to the blog, your email address and subscription preferences are processed through Jetpack or WordPress.com to deliver updates, including emails about newly published posts. You can unsubscribe or manage your subscription through the links in those emails. A subscription is separate from sending us a business enquiry.
Technical and usage information
Website, hosting, analytics and security tools may process IP addresses, device and browser details, referral information, pages visited, interaction times and approximate location inferred from an IP address. We use this information to operate the site, understand its performance and detect misuse. Failed login attempts and other security events may be logged.
Why we use information
We use personal information to provide the interactions you request, respond to enquiries, administer subscriptions and comments, maintain the website, prevent spam and investigate security issues. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, this may include steps requested before a contract, performing an agreement, legitimate interests in running and protecting the business, legal obligations, or consent for activities that require it. The relevant basis depends on the activity and the law that applies.
Service providers and other recipients
The site uses WordPress and connected tools. Providers may process information needed to operate their features:
- Google measurement tools: site analytics and usage measurement. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Jetpack and WordPress.com by Automattic: subscriptions, site statistics and connected website functions. Akismet checks comments for spam. See Automattic’s notice for visitors to its users’ sites and the Jetpack Privacy Center.
- Hosting, delivery and security providers: website storage, logs, delivery and protection. Cloudflare and installed login-protection tools support these functions. When a Google reCAPTCHA challenge is used, Google’s privacy terms also apply to the information it processes.
We may share relevant information with people supporting our business who need it for the purpose described, or when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. If ownership of the business changes, relevant records may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to applicable requirements. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and browser storage can support login sessions, preferences, comment convenience, subscriptions, security and measurement. Providers may also use similar technologies for their connected features. You can manage or delete cookies in your browser; blocking some cookies can affect the features that rely on them. Where a consent control is provided, use it to manage the available choices. Browser settings do not necessarily stop every form of server-side logging or security processing.
International processing
ANAWAZ operates from Pakistan. Hosting and connected providers may process information in other countries. Their locations and privacy arrangements depend on the service. Where applicable law requires additional safeguards for a transfer, those requirements apply; the existence of a provider privacy policy alone is not a guarantee that every transfer has been independently assessed.
Retention and security
Information is retained for the purpose for which it is held, including ongoing correspondence, client administration, security investigations and legal recordkeeping. Subscription records support your subscription; published comments may remain with their discussion until removed. Provider logs and analytics follow the relevant configured retention periods. Some records may need to remain to meet legal obligations, resolve a dispute or preserve a suppression preference after unsubscribing. Backup copies may remain until their normal replacement cycle.
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to protecting the site and business information. No website or transmission method can guarantee complete security. If an incident occurs, we assess the response and any notification duties under the law that applies.
Your choices and requests
You can choose what to include in an enquiry or public comment, manage browser cookies, and unsubscribe from email updates. Depending on applicable law, you may also be entitled to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to particular processing or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already lawfully performed.

We respond within the time required by applicable law. Some requests may be limited by legal obligations or another person’s rights. Where applicable, you may raise a concern with the relevant data-protection authority.
External services and children
Links to WhatsApp, social networks and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Third-party embedded content, when used, can receive information as if you visited that provider. This site is aimed at business users and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information that should be removed.
Policy updates
We may update this policy when the website, our practices or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. A website-policy update does not replace an existing client data-processing agreement.
